Continuing his leadership, Joshua Charles elected president

Joshua Charles
Joshua Charles, director of web strategy and technology at Rutgers Business School, has been elected to serve his first term as president of DigiCol, after his two-year term as vice president. His election through 2028 affirms the community’s confidence in his strategic vision, collaborative spirit and tireless advocacy for professional development in higher education. A board member since 2022, Joshua’s steady leadership has helped expand DigiCol’s programming and deepen its commitment to equity and access.

New vice president: Michael O’Neill steps into executive role

Michael O’Neill
Michael O’Neill, director of web strategy at the University of Iowa, will serve as DigiCol’s new vice president. Elected for the 2025–28 term, Michael brings a deep knowledge of digital strategy and a track record of building authentic connections across campus communities. His leadership on the board has already made an impact — now, as vice president, he’ll help shape the future of DigiCol with energy and insight.

Tiffany Broadbent Beker
Tiffany Broadbent Beker, director of digital marketing at William & Mary, is a longtime contributor to the DigiCol community. A respected presenter and advocate for women in tech, Tiffany’s term began on June 1, 2025.

Olivia Reeder, vice president of institutional advancement at West Virginia University at Parkersburg, is recognized for her creative leadership and community-centered storytelling. Recently named a 2024 West Virginia Wonder Woman, Olivia joins the board for a three-year term.
