Digital Collegium 2026 Leadership Updates

Welcoming four newly elected members to our volunteer-powered organization’s board of directors.

Digital Collegium, the professional development network for higher ed digital professionals, has elected four new members to its board of directors. We’re excited to welcome each of the individuals below for a three-year term, even as we thank the individuals departing the board for their service.

Shelley Keith-Panulla

Term: June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2029

The director of web and digital experience at the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, Shelley Keith-Panulla has spent more than 20 years working in web strategy, content management and digital experience, helping teams navigate the challenges of governance, accessibility and content operations.

An active member of Digital Collegium, she is passionate about helping teams balance strategy, operational realities and user needs in ways that are actually workable.

Chris D’Orso

Term: June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2029

Chris D’Orso is an educational leader and longtime Digital Collegium member with more than 25 years of experience in enrollment, communications and advancement—and a proud Jeopardy! bronze medalist.

As the Slate analyst at Finger Lakes Community College in New York, Chris combines a student-centered focus with a commitment to accessibility and inclusion to tell the stories that make our schools vibrant communities.

Amanda Coltri

Term: June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2029

Amanda Coltri is director of digital strategy and engagement at Bryn Mawr College, where her work focuses on improving user experience, data-informed decision making and the planning and development of the college’s digital communications ecosystem.

She holds a doctorate from Rowan University, where her research centered on transition-to-college social support, the evolution and future of digital student support services, the impact of new technologies on higher education communications strategies and asset-based support models for first-generation learners.

Michele Handlir

Term: June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2029

A web specialist at Georgetown University’s College of Arts and Sciences, Michele Handlir has more than 20 years experience leading higher ed recruitment and marketing strategy, including website development and online marketing projects in the interactive space.

She is a strong advocate of using proven methodologies and best practices to build compelling communications strategics.

Appreciation for Our Outgoing Board Members

Digital Collegium expresses its sincere thanks to Eric Sembrat, Janice Cheng, Beth Miller and Brenden Sparks for their service to the association and higher education.

These individuals served with distinction as members of the Digital Collegium Board of Directors from 2022 to 2026. Their contributions moved the association forward and increased the quality of programming and education that Digital Collegium provides.
